Programs:

Artist Program [$2000]:

- Includes 3 lessons with the teacher of your choice (as you indicate on your application).

- Teacher preference is subject to availability.

- Opportunities to perform in masterclasses will be based on audition. Performance opportunities for a guest artist masterclass are highly competitive. There may be opportunities to perform in a faculty masterclass based on audition.

- Lunch provided for the entire duration of the festival.

- Audition videos required by April 30, 2025 for scholarship consideration and May 10, 2025 for general consideration. Acceptance is competitive.

Scholar Program [$2250]:

- Education Package: A customized package providing college-bound participants with the counseling and recommendations that will aid them in the college application process

- Includes 3 lessons with the teacher of your choice (as you indicate on your application).

- Teacher preference is subject to availability.

- Opportunities to perform in masterclasses will be based on audition. Performance opportunities for a guest artist masterclass are highly competitive. There may be opportunities to perform in a faculty masterclass based on audition.

Successful applicants will receive an acceptance letter, upon which payments can be made to secure applied status.

Resident Housing [Cost TBD, approx. $850]:

- Participants may opt to live on campus at Concordia University Irvine for the duration of Irvine Music Festival (14 days, 13 nights).

- Residents will stay in spacious suite-style dorms that feature a shared bathroom, kitchenette, and living room.

- Chaperones will be present to supervise resident participants.

- Resident housing cost will also include breakfast and dinner.

Important Dates for 2025 Season:

- April 30: Application and audition videos due for scholarship consideration.

(Note: due to our applications' interfaces, we recommend completing on a desktop computer or laptop rather than a cell phone)

- May 10: Application and audition videos due for general consideration.

 

- May 15: Acceptance letters to be issued via email.

​

- May 30: Deposit due for accepted students to secure their spot in the festival.​

​

- June 10: Final balance due for ALL participants.

​

- June 15: A schedule will be available via this website.

​

- June 30: IMF begins!

​

- July 12: IMF Grand Finale Concert​
