Programs:

Artist [$2000]:

- Includes 3 lessons with the teacher of your choice (as you indicate on your application).

- Teacher preference is subject to availability.

- Opportunities to perform in masterclasses will be based on audition. Performance opportunities for a guest artist masterclass are highly competitive. There may be opportunities to perform in a faculty masterclass based on audition.

- Lunch provided for the entire duration of the festival.

- Audition videos required by May 1, 2024 for scholarship consideration and May 24, 2024 for general consideration. Acceptance is competitive.

Scholar [$2250]:

- Includes 3 lessons with the teacher of your choice (as you indicate on your application).

- Teacher preference is subject to availability.

- Opportunities to perform in masterclasses will be based on audition. Performance opportunities for a guest artist masterclass are highly competitive. There may be opportunities to perform in a faculty masterclass based on audition.

- Lunch provided for the entire duration of the festival.

- Education Package: A customized package providing college-bound participants with the counseling and recommendations that will aid them in the college application process

- Audition videos required by May 1, 2024 for scholarship consideration and May 24, 2024 for general consideration. Acceptance is competitive.

Successful applicants will receive an acceptance letter, upon which payments can be made to secure applied status.

​

Resident Housing [Cost TBD, approx. $850]:

- Participants may opt to live on campus at Concordia University Irvine for the duration of Irvine Music Festival (14 days, 13 nights).

- Residents will stay in spacious suite-style dorms that feature a shared bathroom, kitchenette, and living room.

- Chaperones will be present to supervise resident participants.

- Resident housing cost will also include breakfast and dinner.

Auditor [$150]:

- Full auditing access virtually to masterclasses and specialty classes throughout the duration of the festival.

- Applications for auditing are accepted until July 13, 2024.

Important Dates:

- May 1, 2024: Due date for application and audition video submission for scholarship consideration.

​

- May 5, 2024: Acceptance letters to be issued via email.

​

- May 15, 2024: 1st payment deadline for accepted students to secure their status.

​

- May 24, 2024: Due date for application and audition video submission for general consideration. Acceptance        letters will be issued via email.

- May 31, 2024: Final tuition balance is due for ALL participants.

​

- June 14, 2024: A schedule will be available via this website.

- June 30, 2024: IMF begins!

- July 12, 2024: IMF Grand Finale Concert

- July 13, 2024: IMF Cultural Event Outing
