ABOUT IRVINE MUSIC FESTIVAL
Welcome to Irvine Music Festival! We are an intensive and immersive musical and cultural experience for inspired and talented young orchestral players, pianists and vocalists, ages 11 and up. IMF2023 returns this summer in dynamic fashion! With top-notch faculty and an international guest artist roster from world-renowned universities, conservatories and orchestras, our uniquely enriched program is designed to encourage and foster the educational and professional development of today’s inspired and dedicated young musicians to be tomorrow’s leaders and global citizens. Guest artists include Nathan Cole, Robert deMaine, Karen Gomyo, Samuel Fischer and more. Faculty includes Korbinian Altenberger, Hui-Ling Hsu, Timothy Jensen, Da Yoon Kang, Iman Khosrowpour, JinHee Kim, Laszlo Mezo, Ayako Sugaya, Alexander Zhiroff and others. Our alumni are international and regional competition winners, hold principal positions in their school and youth orchestras, and are accepted to top universities and music programs throughout the United States.
Irvine Music Festival is a non-profit, intensive summer classical music program designed for passionate and dedicated young musicians, ages 11 and up. Now entering our seventh season, it is taught by an esteemed faculty of highly regarded performing musicians as well as educators, all of whom are committed to inspiring and nurturing budding musicians who wish to take their mastery to the next level. Both merit- and need-based financial packages are available.
