Director's Welcome

Welcome to IMF2017! Our residency at Chapman University in 2016 was a great success: with more than double the participants of our inaugural season, we had outstanding guest artist master classes, specialty classes and performances. We were proud to welcome the Pacific Symphony as our newest sponsor, and the season culminated with a wonderful Grand Concert at Irvine Valley College, followed by a group outing to the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre. With many encouraging reviews from parents and students, professional colleagues and audience on the high quality of our curriculum, faculty and performance, the Board and I are inspired and committed to work harder and set an even higher standard of excellence. We have made a clear choice to continue focusing on the quality of the program - such as low student-to-teacher ratio, world-class faculty and guest artists, top-notch facilities, rich variety of specialty classes, and streamlined scheduling, to deliver a musical education experience par excellence, that is inspiring, enriching and memorable for your child.
